Characters

Here you'll find some quick descriptions of the characters I have created thus far for this comic. Yes, I know there's nothing in "personality" for two of them. No it's not because they have no personality.

These will be in order of their appearance in the book, not by their importance. So historical characters will come first, and some of it will be esitmated because not all characters have been written in yet.

Kaelden

History-

An elven mage, whose disgust with humanity led him to use his magic against humans. His torturing of human-kind is what eventually led to the war between the humans and the elves.

Personality-

Works for his own gain and cares nothing for others. He sees nothing wrong in harming another to advance himself.

Dustan Guren

History-

Commander of a unit of warriors in the war against the elves. Studied the elves' magic and found a way to seal it so that they could no longer cast large spells against the humans. Which allowed the humans to gain their victory.

Personality-

Something of a loner, always very serious and won't stand for nonsense from anyone. He is very quiet, but he sees more than most think he does. Though a harsh commander, he is fair.

Nareth Hewitt Guren

History-

Nareth is the great-great-grandson of the famous hero Dustan Guren. He is a part of the nobility in human classes, for his great-great-grandfather was granted titles after the end of the war.

Personality-

Jaith-rin

History-

Taken from his family in his childhood, he was one of two slaves to be given to Nareth by his father. He has seved the Guren family since he was young.

Personality-

He doesn't have the quickest wit, and is more likely to follow someone else's lead that make the decisions himself, but he's the master of making the best out of a bad situation. His outlook is always upbeat.

Tai-ra

History-

Orphaned, and trained to serve since birth, she is the second slave that Nareth commands. Since comming to the Guren family, she has served faithfully.

Personality-

Very serious and straight-forward. Quiet at times, but ready to help anyone who seems to need it. Serving her master is all she knows, and it all she cares for.

Tren-an

History-

Little is know of him, who he is or where he came from. He is considered a rogue, that is, a boetheri without an owner.

Personality-

Not Given

Bradley Preit

History-

Noble, son of a slave-trader. He cares little for his father's line of work, however, and aspires to become a writer.

Personality-

He comes off to many as being a bit of a jerk, and that's the way he prefers things. He enjoys poking fun at his fellow nobles, simply to see how they will react, and cares little for what others think of him.

Ralla Preit

History-

Nobly born and sister to Bradley. Unlike her brother, Ralla takes an active part in her father's business, and is engaged to marry Nareth.

Personality-

She can be very nice and sweet when the mood moves her, but more often than not, all her actions are planned to gain her everything she wants. Others rarely see her "real" self.

Ser-den

History-

A slave, born within the Preit family, he has served them his entire life. Most recently, he has become the personal servant of Ralla.

Personality-

Gruff and short-tempered, yet he is deeply devoted to Ralla.

Arafis

History-

Descended from what would be considered the nobility among elves. He has taken up the duty of gathering together all the elves who had survived the war and trying to build up a new life.

Personality-

Has a commanding prescence when he feels the need to command, but prefers to be companionable with those he is with when the opportunity arises. Though he claims to hate all humans, he admits a certain respect and admiration for Commander Guren and some of the other humans he has met.
